The little comfy black dress

Ohmann war ich schon lange nicht mehr hier! Da ich nun jetzt wieder unter den Lebenden weile dachte ich mir, dass ich meinen Blog mal reanimiere. Ist bloggen überhaupt noch aktuell oder hat Facebook das ganze so ziemlich abgelöst? In meiner Liste sind nur  noch sehr sehr wenige aktiv, wenn man das aktiv nennen kann. Das finde ich recht traurig, weil das Bloggen an sich ne tolle Geschichte ist.
Naja dann schreibe ich halt
für mich und das ist auch ok.

Wow such a long time no post from me! Since I'm staying under the living again I thought about reanimating my blog, but is blogging still up to date or is everybody now on Facebook? Most of the people in my watch-list are inactive. That's a pity because I like the idea of blogging. So I'm blogging for myself. Thats ok for me.


Um wieder ins aktive heimische Nähen zu kommen dachte ich mir fange ich mit schnellen unkomplizierten Basics an die man immer tragen kann. Da kam es mir ganz gelegen, dass ich auf das Seamwork Magazin gestoßen bin. Sie bieten für wenig Geld Schnittmuster an, die man in ca. 3h genäht hat.
Als erstes hab ich mich an das Basickleid Mesa gewagt. Fast komplett an der Overlock zu nähen ist quasi Neuland für mich, genau wie Jersey im Allgemeinen. Trotzdem hat es gut geklappt, auch wenn meine Stiche nicht ganz so perfekt geworden sind. Naja es wird denke ich nicht meine letzte Mesa sein, denn das Kleid kann man wirklich das ganze Jahr über tragen und es ist super bequem. Die Ärmel haben eine tolle Länge. Obenrum hab ich es in Größe XS und untenrum in M zugeschnitten und es passt super. Sehr zu empfehlen.

For the start to sew again I want to do some basics first.
Some days ago I found the online
magazine seamwork and I like it. All of the patterns are more or less sewn in 3 hours and thats perfect to start again I think.
I chose the Mesa dress for my first project. I'm quite new in completing most of the sewingwork on a serger. Jersey is not at all a fabric which I used often in the past years. But I like it so far and I want to use it more often. The stitches aren't perfect but ok the next Mesa will be better and I'll do a next Mesa because it's a really nice pattern. I cut the upper part in XS and the lower in M and the fit is great. So comfy. The sleeves does have a perfect length and you can really wear this dress the whole year. So I can really recomment it. :)
